Maxine Glover - Trustee and Co-Founder

Maxine is one of the co-founders of the Joe Glover Trust and is a Trustee of the Charity. The trust was founded following the death of Maxine and Paul’s son, Joe aged 8, to Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma (NHL) in 2006.

Maxine is married to Paul, the other co-founder and in addition to Joe, they have two other children, Alfie and Daisy.

“Having been through this, I’ve seen at first hand what help is desperately needed by families in this dreadful situation. I realise how valuable it is to provide support for the parents of very sick children and I hope to provide families with real help, especially understanding what is needed and what is not provided by other charities”.

As well as having a busy family life, raising her children Alfie and Daisy, Maxine works part-time as an office Administrator and she previously worked for over 10 years in the airline industry for the world’s favourite airline.

“I am very passionate about the Trust and immensely proud of the changes the charity is bringing about in the memory of Joe, he would be proud of it too”.
