Our People

We are run by our Board of Trustees. The board, consists largely of parents who have direct or indirect experience of the life-changing events of having a young child with cancer. These include those that have lost a child to cancer, some with children still being treated for cancer, an Internationally recognised leading health care professional, together with others who want to help the Charity achieve its aims.. The Board of Trustees are responsible for the governance of the charity.

It is their responsibility to ensure that the charity uses its funds appropriately and applies them to furthering our charitable objectives as laid down in our Governing Document. They are unpaid, independent volunteers, who bring a wealth of expertise to the charity.

Catherine Tate, who met Joe when filming the Doctor Who Christmas Special - The Runaway Bride, in Cardiff in July 2006, is our life-long Patron.
